Back to School time is here! Like many parents, I’m gearing up to send my kids back to class. Over the summer each of my three children has sprouted and outgrown nearly all of their clothes. So school clothes shopping is on the To-Do List. When shopping for Back to School, it’s good to remember your ABC’s. Here are a few tips on back to school shopping and a special giveaway sponsored by Hanes just for Little Family Adventure Readers.

ABC’s of Back to School Comfort + Hanes Giveaway

Disclosure: This blog contains affiliate links. They help pay for the coffee that keeps us turning out adventures week after week. I’ll only recommend and share products that I use and love myself. Thanks!

A – Affordable
Back to school shopping can be expensive. Between school supplies, new clothes, shoes, and gear, it will add up quickly. When clothes shopping, stock up on your wardrobe basics: tees, socks, underwear. Choose classic styles that are affordable and can be mixed and matched.

Hanes has all the basics they need and the styles they want at great prices.

B – Breathable
Summer may be over, but it is still really hot here in Oklahoma. So I look for breathable fabrics that keep my kids cool and absorb odor.

Hanes has developed unique technology to keep my kids and adults cool and odor free. X-Temp technology is Hanes’ Tee Shirts and underwear keep them cool and dry all day. While FreshIQ provides advanced odor protection. This is a big plus with one of the kids running Cross Country this year.

C – Comfortable
Kids are active and they need clothes that can go anywhere they do. Kids want to be comfortable in what they are wearing. So choose clothes that are comfortable and ones they will actually want to wear.

We shopped for new school supplies. New clothe and shoes. We shopped for food to pack for lunches. And we started our sleep and wake routine about a week before school started. My older kids have been back to school for about 2 weeks now. My youngest is starting preschool on Tuesday September 5th.

We homeschool year round so I'm not doing anything special right now. If I were, I'd get shopping for school supplies and clothes.

I got my little guy a new backpack, some shoes, and a few basic outfits for his first year of school this year! So glad we don't have to get school supplies this year, but they accept donations for school supplies, and we just pay a registration/supply fee at the beginning of the year!
