These freezer breakfast sandwiches sound like a game-changer! Perfect for those chaotic back-to-school mornings. I love that they're so easy to make ahead. Do you think they'd be good with a different type of bread, like whole wheat? I'm always looking for more ways to sneak in some extra nutrition.

I'm curious about toast in the freezer to microwave. I use regular sliced bread, but want it toasted. Can I toast the bread first, assemble, wrap and freeze, the microwave and have "good-enough" results? I'm guessing the thawing and microwave will turn it soggy.
I suppose I could wrap/freeze the sandwich "innards" only, warm that in the microwave and put on fresh toast from the toaster... That sounds more likely to work...

I hadn't thought to use bread. We've done this before with tortillas to make breakfast burritos. The easier breakfast is, the better! While still being healthy and filling. Great idea for a quick breakfast for school days.
