This blog post is a fantastic resource for families visiting Oklahoma City! The Oklahoma City Zoo and Science Museum Oklahoma seem like guaranteed hits for keeping the kids entertained. The inclusion of a free option like the Myriad Botanical Gardens is a great bonus too.

The blog mentions exploring Bricktown. While it’s a great area for families, I noticed it doesn’t have as much prominence of the historic architecture Oklahoma City is known for. Are there any other areas you’d recommend for families that showcase some of the city’s beautiful brick buildings or perhaps neighborhoods with unique architectural styles?

We are going to brave OKC this Dec and January. Any ideas? We are going to see the Thunder for sure . It looks like the symphony takes a break mid Dec to mid Jan.

My husband would definitely want to check out the ball park. Whenever we travel, we always try to make a stop at the city’s ballpark. It’s always so fun to see how they differ from ours, classic old Fenway Park in Boston.
