We’re on Day 2 of our Holiday cookie recipes. Today, we have Granny’s Mandel Braite Biscotti.
Like most biscotti cookies, Mandel Braite Biscotti are twice baked to make them crisp and firm. They go great with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or milk.
I like these cookies because they aren’t too sweet. The recipe comes from Granny, my neighbor’s mother. Everything she makes is delicious. Did you try her Granny’s Heavenly Granola Bars? You can’t go wrong with one of her recipes. Try them yourself.

I love making biscotti too! I am planning on experimenting with some gluten free pistachio biscotti for Christmas 🙂
Those sound good Amy. What type of flour are you going to use?
I thinking a combination of rice flour, buckwheat, and almond meal (or perhaps pistachio meal). 🙂
Another sweet recipe from your sweet grandmother. I am going to try some of her recipes, I don’t have any from my grandmothers. Thank you very much for joining in the celebration of #purebloglove, we enjoy having you each week. I hope to see you on Thursday at 8PM, EST through Sunday night. ~Cydnee
When my grandmother passed, I took her recipe box and cookbooks. There are so many recipes that it will take me recipes to go thru them all
