It seems like forever since I sat down and shared a real food meal plan with you. I will admit that I fell off the planning wagon and my family quickly grew tired of spur of the moment stir fries, sandwiches, and soup. Those are my go to “I don’t know what to make for dinner” meals. But the important thing is I’m back to planning and I’m sharing a new family friendly, summer meal plan with you today.
The kids are out of school now and we are busy outdoors. The dinners for this week are quick to prepare and are most important, healthy. Even the crock pot chicken recipe frees me up to enjoy the summer with the kids and still lets me create a nutrient packed meal.
Here’s this week’s real food meal plan.
Grilled cheese burgers with all the fixings, chopped vegetable salad
Whole wheat pasta with shrimp, diced tomatoes, basil, feta cheese, and drizzle of Balsamic and EVOO; Chopped vegetable salad
Scrambled Eggs with sausage, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, sliced avocado, and Pepper Jack cheese
Chicken Salad Wraps in whole wheat tortillas, Tossed green salad
