Hurom Slow Pressed Juicer

Saying Goodbye to My Breville: Why the Hurom Is the Best Juicer You Need Now

If you’re serious about juicing and want to extract the maximum nutrients and enzymes from fruits and vegetables, you’ll want to compare cold press masticating juicers to traditional centrifugal models. In the battle of the Hurom versus Breville juicer, the clear winner for me is the Hurom H70 Easy Clean Slow Juicer over my old Breville Juice Fountain.

My Breville Love Affair Comes to an End

After years of using my trusty Breville Juice Fountain centrifugal juicer, I finally decided it was time for an upgrade. While the Breville served me well, extracting juice at lightning-fast speeds, the heat extraction process meant I lost out on some of the vital nutrients and enzymes. Plus, the juicing process left quite the clean up job on my hands. So, I started researching alternative juicer options. I considered the newer version of the Breville but then came across the Hurom H70 Easy Clean Slow Juicer. The company sent me a sample to try out and boy, was I blown away.

Why the Hurom H70 is My Top Choice

The biggest selling point for me with the Hurom H70 was its cold press masticating technology. means that instead of using high-speed blades to extract juice, it uses a slow grinding and pressing motion to effectively extract every last drop of juice from fruits and vegetables. Not only does this result in more nutritious juice, but it also produces less pulp waste, making for easier clean up.

Another feature that won me over was the easy clean design of the Hurom H70. Unlike my Breville juicer which required disassembly and scrubbing the mesh strainer vigorously with a cleaning brush, the Hurom H70 can be easily cleaned with just a quick rinse and sponge.

There is an included brush for getting into small areas but I have yet to use it. This not only saves me time and effort, but it also allows me to make multiple batches of juice without worrying about a long clean up process in between uses.

Additionally, the sleek design of the Hurom H70 makes it perfect for my small kitchen space. It takes up minimal counter space and can even be stored away when not in use. Although the height of the assembled unit may be to taller for small cabinets.

But perhaps most importantly, the Hurom H70 produces delicious and high-quality juice. The slow juicing process preserves all of the natural vitamins and enzymes in the fruits and vegetables, resulting in flavorful and nutrient-rich juice every time.

Why The Hurom H70 Juicer Is A Game Changer

I did plenty of research on new juicer models and settled on the Hurom H70 Easy Clean Slow Juicer. The slow juicing method allows the juice to maintain more of its nutritional integrity compared to centrifugal juicers.

Setup is a breeze – just a few simple parts to assemble. The feeding chute opening in the lid is narrower than the Breville. However, I like that the lid lifts for bulk insertion of ingredients into the chamber that self-feeds into the pressing mechanism, something the Breville doesn’t have.

I did find that I could add whole fruits like pears, apples, and berries, but cutting the fruits and vegetables into smaller 1” to 1.5” pieces made the juicing process smoother and more efficient. This is a small trade-off for the higher quality juice it produces.

My First Green Juice With The Hurom

My first juice with the Hurom was a simple green juice with two handfuls of kale, ½ cucumber, 2 celery stalks, one apple, and one small orange. I was amazed at how dry the pulp came out and how little was wasted. The juice itself was velvety smooth with no gritty sediment or foam at the top. The flavors were vibrant and fresh tasting.

Carrot Juice Dreams Become Reality

Next I tried a carrot-orange juice, which is usually a struggle with centrifugal juicers that can’t handle the density of carrots well. The Hurom powered through carrots, beets, oranges, ginger and turmeric with ease, yielding a nutrient-rich juice packed with vitamins and minerals.

A Watermelon Lemonade Revelation

For my third juice, I made a delicious watermelon lemonade using fresh watermelon without the rind, and lemons. The Hurom did an incredible job extracting every drop  of juice from the watermelon, leaving behind only a small amount of dry pulp. The resulting lemonade was refreshing and full of natural sweetness without the need for added sugar.

I was truly impressed with the Hurom Slow Juicer’s ability to handle a variety of fruits and vegetables with ease and efficiency. It not only produced delicious juices, but also retained more nutrients compared to traditional juicers. Plus, the easy cleanup process made it even more appealing. If you’re looking for a high-quality juicer that can handle anything you throw at it, I highly recommend giving the Hurom Slow Juicer a try.

The Easiest Clean Up Ever

Cleanup is ridiculously easy thanks to Hurom’s Easy Clean system. All the parts are detachable and I found a quick rinse was enough to get them sparkling clean after each use. This is so much easier than the Breville I’d been using for years.

Why The Hurom Is Worth Every Penny

While a bit pricier than centrifugal models, the Hurom Juicer H70 at $599 is well worth the investment for the exceptionally high juice yield, drier pulp, quieter operation, and ease of cleaning. For a limited time use code SUMMER24 to save $100 off this and other Hurom juicers over $399.

If you’re ready to take your juicing game to a whole new level of freshness and nutrition, this cold press juicer by Hurom can’t be beaten. It’s quickly become a favorite kitchen appliance!
