The indoor skydiving facility at FlyStation Munich provides an excellent opportunity to give it a go and feel what it’s like to bodyfly. Biking is an exciting sport, and the Olympiapark offers opportunities for this activity as well. The Olympiapark is one of the most important venues for many sport-related Munich games.

Other Fun Activities

The Dachau Concentration Camp is an experience worth taking with your teenager. It holds a significant part in Munich history as the longest-serving concentration camp in Germany (1933 – 1945). You can take the trip on your own, but if your teen wants an in-depth knowledge of the Nazi camp, it is advisable to join a tour group with a dedicated guide. The museum, the chilling camp-inspired artwork, and original signs will educate your kids about Hitler’s intended meaning of fascism.

Things to Consider Before Visiting Munich

What is the legal drinking age in Germany? If your teen is 16 years or older, it’s important to note that the legal drinking age for beers in Germany is 16, while that for consuming liquor is 18. This is somewhat from many countries where the limit is 18 and above for all alcoholic beverages.

If you are traveling to Munich from a country with varying restrictions, it would be best to discuss your options with the teen. They will probably make local friends and be invited to hang out for Munich karaoke. Indeed, you don’t want to be the overbearing parent who supervises all their teen’s interactions.

So it might be worthwhile if they already understand what boundaries they should remain within. And if you want to extend your trip, check out these things to do in Black Forest Germany.

The Bottom Line

Great vacations for teenagers are often a blend of fun activities. Therefore, incorporate adventurous activities with Munich day trips spent sightseeing. This will help you get the most out of your trip. Teens also love to mingle with their peers. So, plan accordingly and consider that they may want to go out independently or in a group.

All in all, these places are guaranteed to provide you and your teen with some memorable moments. What else would you like to know about Munich and traveling with a teenager?
