Solo Stove Bonfire with Pellets and Adapter

Ditch Tedious Fire Building and Enjoy a Bonfire (almost) Instantly with This Solo Stove Accessory

When you think about roasting marshmallows over a bonfire, you may think of the effort that goes into building one. The time taken to collect firewood and position it perfectly for maximum flame power can be too tedious for some, especially if your fire-building skills are lackluster (that’s me!) That’s why the Solo Stove Fire Pit Pellet Adapter, is a godsend for anyone who wants to enjoy a hot bonfire (almost) instantly.

Recently, Solo Stove sent me their new wood pellet insert to test out and share with you here. Before I get into my Solo Stove insert review, I’ll start by saying that I love my Solo Stove Bonfire! I have set it up in the backyard and use it often. However, I don’t always love building a fire or waiting until my wood fire burns down before heading inside.

Solo Stove Wood Pellet Insert Review

The Solo Stove Wood Fire Pit Pellet Adapter solves my problem of having to build a fire every time I want to enjoy a bonfire. With this insert, all I have to do is add the pellets to the fire pit, embed a firestarter, light it with a match or lighter, and wait for the fire to build itself.

What Do I Like About This Fire Pit Accessory?

Most of all, I like the ease of use. As I just mentioned, you add wood pellets on top of the insert, inside the fire pit, and once lit, there is a roaring fire in about ten minutes.

Another great feature is that the wood pellets are much cleaner and eco-friendlier compared to traditional firewood. They produce less smoke, ash, and soot, making for a cleaner burn. I really like that there is very little to clean up. Plus, the pellets come in compact bags that are much easier to store and manage than ricks of wood. Solo Stove sells its own brand of pellets online, but I found them here locally at my neighborhood Lowe’s store.

Another benefit is that the Solo Stove Wood Fire Pit Pellet Adapter is available in three sizes; Ranger, Bonfire, and Yukon. So if you already own a Solo Stove, you don’t have to purchase a new one to enjoy this convenient feature. If don’t already own this fire pit, I highly recommend it. The Solo Stove Bonfire, in particular, is made of durable stainless steel, and is perfect for small family gatherings or cozy nights around the fire. With the 2.0 Stand, you can even place the Bonfire on your deck without fear of the wood scorching underneath.

Low fire using Solo Stove Campfire

In terms of cost, I think it is reasonably priced. Currently (as of May 2023), they cost:

  • Ranger – $49.99
  • Bonfire – $59.99
  • Yukon – $99.99

I also like that I can set how much time by fire will burn (in a manner of speaking). With a traditional wood fire, you have to build your fire, get it going, add more wood, and then after what can seem like an hour or so, you may need more wood to sustain the fire. With this insert, I can set it up with a layer of wood pellets to burn for an hour and then just let it burn down. A full layer burns for a little over 2 hours.

In terms of safety, the Solo Stove Wood Pellet Insert has me covered as well. The insert is made from stainless steel, so it won’t rust or corrode even with frequent use. And thanks to the built-in safety features, I don’t have to worry about accidentally setting anything on fire around my bonfire!

What I Don’t Like?

I haven’t found anything that I don’t like about the Solo Stove Fire Pit Pellet Adapter yet! It’s a perfect product for anyone looking to build a fire quickly and enjoy it without having to monitor its growth or wait while it burns – a great way to enjoy a hot bonfire without worry!

In conclusion, the Solo Stove Wood Fire Pit Pellet Adapter is a game-changer for those who love outdoor bonfires but dread the fire-building process. It’s easy to use, eco-friendly, and comes in three sizes to fit your existing Solo Stove or the one you plan to purchase.

It’s a great accessory that will save you time and effort, leaving you more time to enjoy the warmth of the fire and roast marshmallows with your loved ones. So, ditch the tedious fire-building process and try the Solo Stove Wood Fire Pit Pellet Adapter for a hassle-free bonfire experience.

This Solo Stove Fire Pit Pellet Adapter sounds like a game-changer! I can totally relate to the hassle of building a bonfire from scratch. With this insert, it’s like instant fire fun! The ease of use is a huge plus. And the fact that the wood pellets are cleaner and more eco-friendly is awesome. Have you tried using different types of pellets? I’m curious if there’s a big difference in the burn quality or smell.
