Best Days to Book Airline Tickets
To get the best price, be sure to search using an incognito or private window. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are routinely the best days to book airline tickets. I have found prices to be $70-$100 cheaper than when searching/booking on weekends. Another tip is to book at least 30 days out for the best price.

FLIGHTHUB – Lesser known search site that allows you to fund the best prices
Scott’s Cheap Flights – Offering both a free and premium version, Scott’s sends subscribers flight deals directly to your inbox. Select your departure city, wait for deals, and then book using Google Flights or directly through the airline. This is similar to DFC without having to buy a membership. Note: The deal alerts are better with both paid versions.
Google Flights – This is my starting point whenever I’m looking to travel with no specific destination in mind. If you are flexible with your destination (i.e., anywhere but home), this is a great way to start researching where to go. Note: ALWAYS search in a private browser so you get the best deal!
AirTreks – This company is go-to site for round-the-world (RTW) and multi-leg airline tickets. They offer very good deals online. But, if you have questions about round-the-world tickets, it’s best to call and get a quote. Their knowledge is unmatched anywhere.
