Why Your Next Family Activity Should be at a Trampoline Park

Indoor Trampoline Parks are all the rage right now. Odds are, there could be one near you. Trampoline businesses tend to seek out abandoned warehouses and transform them into family friendly fun houses! Or they build a warehouse from ground up, like they did in our town.

Where we live, there was a big warehouse going up and nobody quite knew what it was going to be. The excitement was immense when we found out it was going to be an indoor trampoline park. Trampoline parks are especially great because they are year round fun. It seems like they are always busy, not just in winter. I would wager that the reason they are always busy is because they are very family friendly. Majority of the groups you’ll see are families, young and old. What is also frequently seen is large birthday groups, which is an awesome idea because all the kids are contained within four walls (and dozens of trampolines of course!).

Our local trampoline gym consists of toddler zones, big running stretches of trampolines, diagonal wall trampolines, and big air mattress pits to dive off in to. There was even an area above the air mattress pits where they have a balance beam and inflatable rods to push each other off. Typically, these gyms are on hourly rotations (one hour time limits), so it never will be overcrowded which I was really worried about because the parking lot was packed!

This park was such a high energy place, upbeat music, laughter, food, birthday’s and fun. Our family recently had a mini reunion and we were all eager to go, parents and kids! This was our first time to a trampoline park and we were not disappointed. Our kids sure slept good that night! Take a moment and see if there’s a park where you live for you next family activity!

Do you have an indoor trampoline park in your area?

It’s crazy that trampoline parks can be so much fun! It would be amazing to take a trip with my family to one. It would be great to jump all over the place.

Thanks for mentioning that trampoline parks make a great family activity during winter since they provide a fun place to be active indoors. As it’s been getting colder, I’ve noticed my kids spending more time indoors on electronics. I think they’d love the idea of a trampoline park, so thanks for suggesting it!

I think you’re definitely right that my family would love a trip to a trampoline park, especially with all of our high-energy kids. While I’ve never been to a trampoline park myself, I’ve seen enough of my kids on our neighbor’s trampoline that I know they’d love a room full of trampolines like you said, especially as it’s available in all seasons like you said. It’s cool that your trampoline gym has a toddler area, and as I have a toddler of my own, I’ll check to see if a gym in our area has one as well so she can join in the fun.

Trampolines are excellent fun not only for children, but also for the whole family. You can make spending time for children even more exciting. Did you know that there are trampolines with a basketball Hoop? You can read the review here. It seems to me that while it is still warm, this is the best option to keep your child busy in the fresh air
